Any chance of getting the service types pre-start? Auction/Raffle/Spinner/Etc.? Just trying to plan out my day Saturday and how MUCH I have to be at my computer.

Just to be 100% clear, this is a high-end silver event. It's not much of a get lucky winning something type of event. If you don't have much in terms of silvers, there are very few things on the list for Friday and Saturday that will fit your budget.

Auction is the preferred method to dealing with some of the highest services (permabless, spell knowledge, glamour tattoo, defusion, coraesine, briar (tier 3), weight reducing, etc). Reserves (which will be the MB) will be 100m to 300m depending on which.

Rune tattoos and x/day are 10m.

The question was for things done by raffle or spinner. The luck is involved with winning one of those spots; coughing up the silver to get the service is the next step.

Does it have to be of that material by name of the item, or by analyze? (I think the white eog gladius that I still have, analyzes as 'steel', even though it's Holy and +10.)

I wanted to be clear, we have over 350 MAJOR services for this event. Right now, we have around 30 or so planned for auction. The variable pricing is actually in favor of many people who don't have a whole lot of silver and have low or middle end gear. I've been running many examples of pricing tonight just to get a feel for the tipping point, and it really doesn't start until 7x with other properties. Yes, things with better properties at earlier enchant will bump up faster, but I think the majority of players shouldn't have too many concerns. We do have some things that we have an anticipated amount of silver we'd like to take in, so auctions are the best venue for those things.

It's important to look at the event as a whole and not to just hone in on the top 25 services. I feel like that's where a lot of concerns fixate. If you're among the top 25 wealthiest players in game, that's when you should probably focus on those services (if they are of interest to you). There will be some luck when we use spinners to select people, so the playing field is pretty wide open.

It hasn't really seemed to me to be the case that Defenders are really sought after all that terribly much (since they kill all chance of a player Enchanting the weapon), but I wanted to run these past you:
- only works to up the Enchant on a current Defender? (Bringing mine, just in case...)
- only works to create the base (+5 from this service) Defender state on a new weapon? (Sending my perfect main gauche, just in case...)

And--really dreading this answer--since the current Defender in question is imflass, were I to luck into getting selected for BOTH one of the Defender slots AND one of the Partial Enchant slots an hour later... +5M surcharge?
