So these storm hammers are amazing, and I love mine. Important disclaimer.
One thing that makes me sad though is that the Call Wind is basically unusable for anything that isn't several levels below your own. That seems to be about Call Wind itself when used by a non-wizard, but it would be fantastic if the hammers could have some inherent bonus to effectiveness when Call Wind is used.
It's such a waste of an ability otherwise, and if it can create a giant storm over the region shouldn't it be able to knock a few like-level things down? (Plus Quake can be a real problem for other people in your hunting area, which is asking for trouble..)

They shouldn't as of December 2016. Roundtime is down to random 3 to 5 from the previous random 15 to 45.

The RT is now VERY reasonable. Unfortunately, Call Wind is mostly a parlor trick. It rarely works on anything like-level or above if you're not a wizard. (MIU doesn't seem to affect success rate that I can tell)
But the quake works wonders. And the loresing ability alone is auction quality.
