Friends and Comrades,

Gnomish ingenuity has won through in the end. The captured duo of Fiddlestix and Hauptwhistle have succeeded in providing us a weapon that can exploit the Ravager's heretofore unknown weakness. I have the pair moved to a safehouse in the Subterrain where will be safe from the Ravager should Icemule Trace come under attack. The Town Guard's forces are stretched thin in defending our walls, so secrecy is our captives' sole protection.
