What a night... 01/10/2015 03:48 AM CST

...just have to say, sir... bravo.

Thank you to all the GMs involved in last night. It was really a great finale to a story that began so many years ago. There were some twists and turns and I am definitely going to enjoy cleaning up the log.
But before I pass out, I wanted to get out my thank you.

I second that, it was hectic with alot of moving parts.

As for the consequences of entering the shadow valance, it begins?

I'm not awake yet and haven't had nearly enough coffee to be overly coherent, but I wanted to drop a quick "thank you" to everyone that had a hand in last night, players as well as GM's. I haven't really processed it all and haven't spoken to anyone from the other groups in-game yet to see how they fared but I know I had fun with the group I was in. Thanks again for a fun night!

Totally agree with all the above; pretty exhausted right now, but many thanks to Kenstrom and conspiring GMs for the extraordinary amount of effort that must have been involved, and to the players who came out en masse to take part and stick through it to the end.

Gonna take a while (and probably more than 2 hours of sleep) to process it all, heh.

I didn't stay to see the whole thing but I have to say, last night was one of the most unifed efforts on the part of Landing Defense. Communication was awesome, people seemed to just fall into roles that were needed. Never seen it work like such a well oiled machine. Well done. Proud to have served with you all......

I had a great time, and wish to thank everyone both player, and staff, who helped make this night happen. The amount of work that the gms must have put into this just blows my mind, and again thank you. I cant wait to see whats next..

The whole evening was awesome.

Folk this mornin say Cross and Madelynne fell. Aralyte is stuck in the Shadow Realm. Walkar is alive, but not well. Pylasar is the hero.

Undeads and demons were all about town. Shadows stay'd stuck in Shadow realm, think. And aint hear'd what sort of fitin happin under Reach yet. But, Bekke say they didn see signs of any dragon.

Excellent work by all! I had a blast, bdespite staying up beyond my bedtime (I am getting older).

Talk about multitasking: guarding the gates, getting reports from all over the Landing area, manning the pylons, etc..etc. Was extremely busy and many took responsibility in making it work!

Well done to all!

Thank you for all the hard work that went into last night. Kenstrom, Xayle, Marstreforn, Haliste, all of you.

Due to things, I've not been around as much lately, so I appreciated moreso the opportunity to be in the front row of last night's drama. In my head, I've been tracking how ye ole Sil'Draug clan would be preparing for this, and how they might manage it now, and maybe in coming days, that will translate to another piece of fiction. I think the opportunity to wrap up my last installment with the recent events has come and gone, and I don't know that it would be interesting to anyone but myself, feeling a little OCD about "completing" Turinrond's story, but also accepting of the mystery and intrigue of unanswered concerns. Maybe it's better if his truths are not known.

I mention that, because.. frankly.. anyone else's piece of fiction that has my mind working overtime (through lack of sleep and RL matters) over my interpretation of it... well, that deserves some kudos. I cannot very well go back and insert myself into this story from 4 years ago. Thank you, for allowing me to get involved this past year and hopefully I made some interesting contributions. It has been an inspiring and provocative time for me, and I appreciate that tremendously.

Respectfully,

Ditto. In my case I woke up early.
Thanks to all those in the background who organised these activities and to all those who participated, making it so much fun.

I slept in. I made some coffee.

So...

Thank you Kenstrom, et al. (Haliste, Marsteforn, Xayle, anybody else who helped).

Last night was an awesome end. I haven't been this invested in the game in a really, really long time... and I have you guys to thank (blame?) for that.

How great it must have felt to get this thing across the finish line! Had a wonderful time last night. Huge thanks to Kenstrom and all the GMs who made it happen.

Thank you so much, GMs! I can only imagine how much you must have worked to paint the areas within the shadow realm, come up with rituals, play your GM PCs, orchestrate invading hordes, develop shadow weapons, herd characters, come up with room/area effects on the fly, create scripts for Althedeus' changing form, coordinate timing (complete with time-shifts) across three large groups of players, hop from character to character to get the story told, and bring everyone home in (more or less) one piece. It was clearly a monumental effort, and I was duly wowed.

Now I need to finish the work I should've done earlier this week but put off to make room for the fireworks in Elanthia, but I had to say thanks while it was still fresh in my mind. Y'all are awesome!

I just want to say thank you so much for the opportunity to be apart of this storyline. Last night tested a lot of my character's resolve. You the GMs, do a great job to really make things fun. I know my character was worried she may not come back.. or she would be horribly changed. Last night in fact, she was relieved to not feel much of anything but shaken up... She figured she got off the hook until today... when I logged in and this happened:

You feel a cold shiver course through your veins and a faint whispering echoes in your mind.

The only thing I'm disappointed about is that none of your PCs are permanently dead. The death toll is underwhelming at best. I KEED, I KEED!

..uh aha otherwise yes, it was great fun! Always a pleasure to hang out with Cryheart during invasion scenarios, he's a shining beacon of patience. I'm still wondering who dumped the oil on us, though- that was a bit of a 'i hope that's shepherd's pie in my knickers' moment because that oil murderizes more than golemsplosions (totes know from experience).

Glad you cats had fun. Big ole more props to all of the GMs behind everything. Big ole props to everyone groundpounding, manning siege engines including the pylons, triage for working doubletime (i still owe katiesa a single chrism gem for that weaponfire incident), all around good show.

Thank you to everyone that took part the other night and throughout the storyline, GMs and players alike.

Aeavenne survived the night, which actually came as a surprise to me. I'd like to offer special thanks to those friends that helped her hold together and have a reason to return. She feels stronger than she has for a long time now.

Kenstrom - very intrigued by the new teasers and the creepy shivery whispers. Keep it coming!
