Pre Apocalypse Preparation 01/09/2015 11:25 AM CST

In the final hours pre end of the world, I am checking off my to-do list, in preparation. What does your list look like?

-Watching 'The Hobbit, The Battle of Five Armies'.

- Fridge stocked with Pop. ( Just because it's the word of the day)

- Pizza man on speed dial confirmed.

- Phone on Mute.

-Smokes stockpiled, ash tray(s) emptied.

Last minute prep:

- Door locked.

- Dog walked.

- Front lights out, car garaged. (To give appearance of empty house, no unannounced visitors.)

~The red-robed summoner steps forward, bows respectfully, then steps back. His hood falls back slightly and his dark sea blue eyes stare out from the shadows. He grins wickedly, then steps into the shadows.

-Work, off early today (Friday is my early day)

-Nap after sushi lunch

-Make dinner and get it in the oven early

-Yoga while dinner is cooking

-Get the wee bit into bed at 650 PST instead of 7PST

-Speed read a book to her, give snuggles

-Pop popcorn, get the tea ready, make sure I have chocolate and kleenex

-Say goodbye to the hubs again, apologize for making him a GS widow and remind him that tomorrow night is the last widow night for awhile

-Start pandora, log in, pray lots.

Hah! I do the same thing sometimes. Rapunzel escapes Gothel quicker and quicker each night!

My Pre-Aocalypse Preparation.

* Get off work, walk out of my office into the living room.

* Take the kiddo for a walk.

* Dinner

* Watch 2 episodes of Bubble Guppies (...not my choice...)

* Bath for kiddo

* Bed time stories involving Ariel, Rapunzel, Elsa and Anna, or all four.

* Kiss my wife, maybe cop a feel.

* Destroy the world.

I listen to it...and I totally picture the Shadows finale in slow motion...people screaming...fires raging...blood rain...heroes climbing over rocks...over bodies...dirt...grime...chaos...that final push to survive....

can't smoke in my place and I hate the rings movies. otherwise I've got all that covered. except I made macaroni and cheese,
