From this bridge, the view of the falls to the east is wondrous. Lush green trees border the falls atop the cliff face, and grass clings to the black, sandy banks of the delta. Moonlight illuminates the crashing falls, providing a breathtaking silvery display which dazzles the eye in contrast to the black sands of the beach.
You plop down to the ground in a sitting position.
You sigh heavily.
You quietly ask, "You saved me once before, did you not?"
You solemnly say, "I only want to protect those children...make the city proud and strong and defiant in the face of the shadow."
You solemnly say, "I hope I will make you proud of me, Father."
A strong gust of wind blows by you!
Rowmi closes his eyes and lets his mind drift, dancing among the hypnotic rhythm of the falls, his thoughts full of fire and hope.
