2) a fel-hafted golvern waraxe

Mounted atop a haft of blackened fel rests a fiery reddish-gold golvern axe head, sweeping down in a graceful arc to form a wicked drop point. The flat of the blade on each side has a brushed, matte finish, while the edge is sharp and polished. The smooth handle has been wound with strips of black suede, forming a webwork of ebony over the natural dark hue of the fel, and providing a better grip on the weapon. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph. A strange necrotic haze radiates from the waraxe.

Examples:

As soon as the golvern waraxe is in your hand, several vines of briar and thorn slither out of the top of the blade and twine about your wrist. Droplets of crimson blood are quickly absorbed by the writhing vines.

You gently tap and stroke the vines wrapped around your wrist. With a soft sucking sound, the imbedded briars pull away from your flesh, and the vines recede into the waraxe's blade without further damage.
