Yes and thanks for the response. But I was attempting to turn in a completed task vs. seeking a new task (to take advantage of guild night prior to logging out). Next time I will do them in reverse order should the situation rise again!

Locking him out completely (including for turn-ins) seems like a bug. If they really want to lock out all new tasks then okay, I guess, this I would prefer to see it limited to the task in question.
