So who's got a good way to reliably boost CS? Those higher rounds are really tough to hit. To the point where I frequently had only ~30% chance of hitting with Depression, and some opponents took 5-8 casts to land THAT. (Given that, and the fact that Songs typically face a lower TD, I'm disinclined to even try Elemental Saturation.)
They pretty much don't wear spells, so there's nothing TO dispel to make things any easier.
I already:
- reallocated all the Shield & Perception & MOC & <all that crap you need for actual hunting> into Spell Research;
- used a quartz orb (+10CS for ~5 minutes);
- used the Mana Tap from the sigil armor (+15CS for ~2 minutes);
- Sunfist doesn't have a CS-boost (I think only Voln?).
Is there anything that I'm missing?

BOOST ENHANCE STATS
It only adds +5 CS to my sorcerer (if I remember right from that one run I forgot to put it up before entering the arena), but when 1 CS makes all the difference it's worth burning them. I also use BOOST LUCK to improve all those really low endrolls.
Also, if you can get yer hands on a scroll/rod with 715 on/in it, you can use the Hex Curse to lower their TD instead. Just cast/wave in the guarded stance.

Voln's CS boost doesn't help in the arena anyway, cause there are no undead there.

A severed gnomish hand crawls in on its fingertips and makes a rude gesture before quickly decaying and rotting into dust. A gust of wind quickly scatters the dust.

Guarded would not be a problem, because that's pretty much where I live anyhow.

I forgot all about the Boost! I have a macro set up for using that when I go in to fight the Reim Royalty, so another easy win.
GSWiki has only a stub for the 'luck', but I found the info on the Login Rewards article. Re-roll 1-10, eh? Thanks again!

Here's my CS Boosting bag of tricks
Mystic Focus
All the Acuity Flares
Enhancives
BOOST supercharge and stats
Arkati Box - the last (raffle/auction tier) unlock will boost all stats by 2
Ascension points - not that I know how that works
+ Other stuff that I have no idea about :)
All that said, I've watching Mister Yakushi in the Arena on a non-endless run and his songspell attacks have numbers that look in orbital range to me :)
His bag of tricks is CLEARLY better than mine.

GSWiki says the Arkati box is +1 to all stats for 2 hours; is that correct, or is yours? Should the article say "+1 to bonus" (which == +2 to stats)?

I thought it was 2 ... maybe it is one!
Next time I use it, I will attempt to ascertain what it does. It's a long cooldown, too. I might have been the one that updated the auction unlock part of the wiki last time I fiddled with the item :)
