Are these best for pure bards, or would a polearm singing lance user do alright against these guys?

Wow, I always thought of them in the same realm of difficulty as stone giants (also 58th level), but it looks like they have only HALF as many HP (GSwiki says 300 pyrothag, and 600 stone giant).
Either way you go you should be tearing them up, since I was loving on the Stone Giants from 48th level and up (as a caster). Frequently with a 2-mana kill, from VibeChant/1002.

Oh wow, I'm gonna get my bard over there and check it out then. I can sing 1002, but I usually prefer to swing my lance. I won't have enough spells for 1035 until I'm at the end of hunting them, but when I do get 1035, I'll be swinging a lance in 3 seconds.

Can confirm, my polearm-bard wrecked and loved the area. Granted, that was 20 years ago.

impact flares > pyrothag heads
Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain,
And the stream that falls from the hill to plain.
Better than rain or rippling brook,
Is a mug of beer inside this Took.
