Spell Suggestion: 1050 Celebration 06/12/2021 01:27 PM CDT
Celebration occurs when the Bard uses all his or her power to unify a group into solidarity for either destructive or beneficial purposes. When in combat, the use of Celebration will attempt to group all of the critters in the room into one entity which can be attacked as a whole. The Bard focuses their song on the hearts and souls of all the critters so that it becomes irresistible that they not celebrate together. This can result in a raising of stance, a RT, a calm effect but most centrally it unites the critters into one critter for the Bard to operate against. If the Bard attacks one of the critters and wards successfully, each of them will feel the blow with a gradually weakened effect. So for example, a 3x post cap Bard with the best training possible might get a Crit rank of 3 for the first critter, then the next two critters receive a 3 rank, next three experience rank 2, two more left experience minors. A Bard who just got the spell and has nothing extra from lore or spell ranks might get a rank 3 wound on critter one then a rank 2 wound on critters three and four, then minors on a few more before the effect stops-- so that not each critter was even effected. It could be very beneficial for Bards who are at the highest level because all it becomes is a race against swarms doing more damage than you do to them. The spell could be considered too powerful perhaps by some but let's look at some of the area effect spells: Implosion, Meteor Swarm, Boil Earth for 17 mana (multi target, multi crit WOW), Ranger vines kick the crap out of my 20+ level above him Cleric, Mass Calm, Major Elemental Wave....

I feel if the mana is 50 to start then a -1 per critter you effect with a wound from a strike, 60 second duration then you'd have a heckuva powerful spell that is not too overpowered. Bards can get a bit dry and this sort of action and fun would mix in some spice that maybe is needed a lil bit?

So the Bard is striking one critter and the rest of the group is hit with gradually weakening force throughout the group effected by Celebration. If the Bard has enough Ambush, Perception, CM and related Bard training then perhaps the wound can
be in the same location.

Also, the Celebration spell will temporarily raise the ranks of MOC the Bard has +10 to a max of +20 with related training.

The other part of this spell wanted to express was that if the Bard is being friendly with an unjoined group, then a temporary bonus for all those not joined as well as those who are already joined will occur. Since solidarity and cheer will abound with the effects of their Celebration, so long as they are feeling it I would imagine they would have an increase Aura and +10 MOC for up to 5 minutes after the bard song has ended or the Bard has left the room after singing it with EVOKE or whatever separates it from the battle version. Once the Bard has activated 1050, they can leave the room and the effects will not occur on any unjoined as it only works with those local at the moment it is activated.
