I went to reim with a sephwir crossbow and messile bolts... I should have been able to hit everything with 25% damage reduction.
But it didnt work... I got the old "have no effect" message.
Also why I should have needed to bless, I tried voln blessing both the crossbow and the messile bolts. The blesses took, but I still had no effect when trying to fire at the reim mobs. Had to abandon the quest, please look into this and let me know when I can hunt in reim again!

I also had this "no effect" issue with nothing in my right hand in the below mstrike (see the last 3 lines). 1012 was dispelled midway through the mstrike; the right hand was thus open. It applied the old can't-hit-undead effect, and the left handed weapon never even tried to connect (unsure if 1012 dispel should have been possible but that's probably a separate issue).
