The hefty faewood chest in the Alchemist Shop 01/09/2021 09:15 PM CST
Beneath a glaes-paned window sits a hefty faewood chest carved with strange symbols and wrapped with heavy, padlocked chains.
Inside, a torn page (visible using Piercing gaze).
Using call lightning indoors, the box was blasted (still shows up in the room however).
You also see a torn page.
>look at page
The page appears to be a hastily scrawled potion formula but the bottom is torn, the ingredients list cut short.
There appears to be something written on it.

In the Common language, it reads:
2 flasks of blessed water
2 glimmering blue mote of essence
powdered black diamond
2 doses of ground s...

So here we see a Potion recipe (according to the 'look). No recipes published include ground black diamond. Additionally I'm aware of as many as 5 ingredients that start with 'ground s...'.

Even if I knew which profession to be in order to brew this supposed potion you still need to know if you are using simmer, boil or the other 6 alchemy options.

"I would never ever add a troll note in Reim"

So obviously this is a recipe to make trolls.

There was an event, during one of the Chaston Storylines, I believe, that released a special recipe to do ... something that was needed for the emergency of the moment.

And I think that is left over from it. My fuzzy brain thinks there were several alchemy things used during that time, but since it was not something I could do ... yeah, I just have vague memories of them.

There may be entries in the TownCrier Archives about it. This is where the 2016/2017 articles live, not all very well formatted:
