Just wanted to bump this thread, because we still want capped/post cap hunting in our favorite town.

I suspect that with the rift just a few minutes away if your running fast its desirable, but not likely to be as high a priority as some other things.

Would love to see some 70ish to 80ish undead somewhere near the Landing. The undead gap is destroying my favor...

The landing deserves a level 100 ground. So many people raised their characters there; should be able to hunt there at the cap.

The answer to this question is probably not. The design GMs, for unfathomable reasons, have decided that the upper level characters need to travel away from the Landing, even though this town has the highest concentration of players. Well, unless they are clerics or empaths, of course; then they can continue to advance by healing and/or raising. There have been other scenarios where the landing has had high level invaders (heck, we just recently had the Taladorians here with varied hunting areas up to level 110), but by design, they have all been temporary and not permanent. So, don't get your hopes up.

"Oh, that's the projection of a hypothetical offspring from a union between Sauron and Cruella de Ville; we use that as a baseline for determining character alignment."

You'd think with the way they try to set things up to motivate player interaction and group hunting they wouldn't force us to scatter out into the boonies away from each other.

Being forced to do something you don't want to do and don't enjoy doing isn't going to make the game attractive to the players. They might be shooting themselves in the foot by not adding high level monsters to the Landing area so players can stick together and have fun together.

Makes as much sense as American employers laying American Consumers off or paying them less because they want those same consumers to spend more and buy more.
