I imagine I could do an 8x enchant; I have never tried one because it needs a special tempering potion, and I don't even know where to get one. I have no clue how long the tempering time would be for such a project. (It's the time needed for completing a project that makes high level enchantment items so expensive). Judging by the fact that going from 6x to 7x can take close to 3 months, we are probably talking an additional 4 to go from 7x to 8x. This time would probably tack on a few million to the 7x price; that fact that 8x enchantment items are rare would be another factor in determining the final price.
