Since I don't find this to be the case for me...

Try dropping your spells and changing the order that you cast them on yourself and see if that makes any difference? I am guessing you regularly put 509 on last.

Note: I don't know what the result will be, just a guess based on prior complaints from folks about casting dispel and having the combat spell they just put on the critter dispelled first.
