A note on my training path (about 8 years) - I started sword/board. Moved to ranged + OHE. Moved to Ranged/OHE/Brawl (too mutant). Moved to Ranged/Brawl. Ran spells at 37 trains over 30 levels so I could have animal companion and 107 at 30, then hit wall of thorns at 40, then back up the 100s to 130. Spell training after my 37 ranks at level 30 was a little less than 1:1 to hit parity around 70. Generally solo hunt, but hold my own with open range, open brawl (with bow in hand) or any combination of hide/bow/brawl.

Hunted for 85% of the time in Ice Mule up to the top of the mountain and then got tired of popping seekers for 10 levels and moved to the landing for Darkstone/Stronghold/Whentoph (sp?).

Never met a like level critter I didn't have average+ odds against. Generally run out of mana well before I'm out of the hunt, but use offensive spells as either crowd control or the "up yours" on bandits. (Hunt bandits readily.)

Spells will continue up to 650. After that, I'm fairly open. I have penciled in Hauberk at lvl 100, but who knows...
