deflection training? 08/30/2014 11:15 PM CDT
Is this what a successful deflection looks like, or is it just a normal attack blocking result? I thought deflection was supposed to direct the attack back at the critter, so this may not be a real example of that skill. Hmm, I wasn't aware stone giants did this sort of thing; maybe I'll keep the skill. Also wasn't aware it could work lying down, if this actually is an example. Looks pretty cool actually. Again, might just be a normal block of a hurled weapon attack; They don't do this sort of thing all that often, so I am uncertain.

You tumble to the side and block the missile with your sea-blue buckler!
The war mattock flies past you, disappearing into the local environs.

Meh; never mind. It's probably just a normal block message. Dtraining is supposed to activate only in more offensive stances, and I got a similar message tonight when I was in defensive stance. Oh well, for a minute I thought I was cool.

"So, what does that green line on the graph represent?"
"Oh, that's the projection of a hypothetical offspring from a union between Sauron and Cruella de Ville; we use that as a baseline for determining character alignment."
