I just finished enchanting a runestaff up to a full 6 enchants (+30) and ensorcelled it once.

It's an ornate rowan runestaff capped with a glowing purple orb. (A strange necrotic haze radiates from the runestaff.)

You analyze your rowan runestaff and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information:

This is a runestaff with a glowing orb. It is fully unlocked. When altering, it must always contain a glowing orb in its description.

You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the rowan runestaff for you.

I've found a few scripts as well.

rub:
As you rub the orb on your rowan runestaff it glows ever brighter, then ebbs again.

raise:
As you raise your rowan runestaff into the air, a beam of incandescent light shoots forth from the glowing orb.

wave:
You wave your rowan runestaff in an arc through the air, creating a luminous trail of light with the glowing orb.

turn:
As you softly utter a subtle incantation, brilliant sparks of light fly out in all directions from the glowing orb atop your rowan runestaff.
