I've recently had some run ins with bandits hunting me down for something I shouldn't have seen. Apparently sorcerers don't like you looking over their shoulders while summoning demons, and its good enough cause to have any thief or mugger able to kill you, try.

Concerned that there might be some trouble with our very guild itself, I went to speak with Master Dante.

The office is small, but well-appointed in contrast to the rough stone of the building outside. Rich paneling in a variety of exotic woods covers the walls, hung with fine tapestries and paintings from all corners of Elanthia. A large polished ebony desk, carved around its edges with elaborate symbols of the Arkati, dominates the room. You also see a carved ebony archway and Guild Master Dante.

You bow to Guild Master Dante.

You ask, "Master Dante?"

Guild Master Dante asks, "Yes?"

You ask, "Is there a blood bounty on me with the guild?"

You put a serrated black vultite knife in your weapon harness.

Guild Master Dante says, "No."

You nod.

You say, "Someone is hiring others, outside our guild, bandits and thieves."

You say, "They are comming here from all over."

You say, "Silvers are being thrown at the feet of anyone willing to help."

Guild Master Dante asks, "Well, can you blame them then?"

You say, "Not really."

You say, "I just wanted to make sure it wasn't our own."

You adopt an agreeable expression.

Guild Master Dante says, "Correct."

You smile.

You say, "That is good to know... and I respect your wisdom."

You say, "I would ask you something..."

You ask, "If a lass was bein' hunted an' you could give her to the wolves to save the town, would you?"

You say, "There's some odd things going on."

Guild Master Dante says, "You have to weigh the needs of the many."

Guild Master Dante says, "versus the needs of the few, or one."

Guild Master Dante asks, "Tell me you ain't gone soft already?"

You stare at Guild Master Dante.

You say, "I don't want the guild to be in danger."

Guild Master Dante says, "We have survived much. There's always shadows to hide in."

You adopt an agreeable expression.

You say, "This is why I come to seek your wisdom, you know many truths."

You bow to Guild Master Dante.

You ask, "Have you heard any news?"

You ask, "Of the goings on?"

You say, "Surely if silver are being tossed around, some of ours have been approached."

Guild Master Dante says, "I can't discuss that at this time."

You give your eyebrow a little workout.

You say, "I see..."

You nod to Dante.

Guild Master Dante says, "I think you should get back to work now, or home."

Guild Master Dante winks.

You chuckle.

You say, "I will leave you to your tasks."

You bow.
