Having discovered a trap on the strongbox you begin to carefully attempt to disarm it...

You feel like you've made a good attempt.

Knowing how delicate magical glyphs can be, you scrape some extra lines into the markings hoping to alter their meaning and defeat the spell they may hold.

That's pretty much straight Arcane Symbols ranks, plus some stat bonuses and a d100 directly translating to the difficulty of glyph traps. Awesome.

I saw that I could get the trap without lore, but needed a very high roll. Still needed a moderately high roll after, but nothing crazy.

I just wish after disabling the glyph you could open in through other means than picking.

I mean, the glyph's no longer there. . . right?

Well, it says that you alter the glyph to change its meaning, so I guess it's still there.

I'm not sure why I can't just file the whole damn thing away.
