Quest Design Contest 07/17/2011 05:55 PM CDT
Its just a thought...

The largest incentive to play as expressed by those I have known is the GM interaction during quests. However, the quests that have drawn players back to their homes have been scarce imo.

Perhaps there could be a contest to create your own quest(s).

You can submit as many entries as you want. However, all entries must be complete in order to win.

The prize for winning is to be given one of the characters to Roleplay in the event.

The storyline must be kept confidential, and the character cannot keep additional 'prizes' and or 'bribes'. The ending of the story will be determined by staff.

Stories can have at most 1 small are designed, or use existing areas as per permission by their developer, but they should be roleplay driven.

To be explained:

1) Basic Introduction
2) Town(s) to be involved and expected duration of the quest
3) Outline of story
4) Basic character descriptions and histories of at least 5 leading characters (characters cannot currently exist)
4b) Explain how the characters know each other (if they do)
5) Any side quests that may branch off of the story
6) Any supplemental characters to enhance the story

Would anything else be needed?
