I have a question - and I am hoping it's a moot question in my case since I hope I will be bonded to my weapon before I turn it into a splitter weapon.

But:

Let's say a paladin is bonding (not fully bonded) to a splitter weapon. He/She splits the weapon in two! Do both blades "learn" or is it just one of them? or am I better off just not splitting the weapon until it's fully bonded?

I'm mostly just curious. Thankfully, DR is a great way to finish up bonding!
