1618 Weighting Benefits - Stacking to HCW weaponry 03/30/2017 01:07 PM CDT

Estlid, this may have been discussed before, but I just wanted to clarify before I go down the rabbit hole of 2x HP.

My goal is to keep 1618 running at all times during a hunt and I will need a massive mana pool to do so.

I was wondering if the damage weighting gains from 1618 will stack onto the abilities of a HCW weapon? That is, the spell does not negate the HCW to the weapon and the HCW of the weapon does not negate the HDW from the spell. If you could clarify that for me, it would be a big help. Thanks!

I think they got much more flexible with things like this when they started dishing the bonuses out from things like Society powers (GoS, in this case).

Well, I'm not GM Estlid, but I can tell you that the spell stacks with existing damage or crit weighting on a weapon.

once you have about 45 mana gained per pulse off node and about 275-300 mana(around 101 hp), you can keep up 1603/1607/1617/1618 pretty easily non-stop. add 140 in there and you've got enough mana for about 15 minutes of hunting, using symbol of mana every 5 minutes.
