After some discussion, it's been decided that the Council of Light and Voln should enjoy similar levels of discussion on the Forums. In short, this means that:

- Both Voln and CoL can be freely discussed in their respective folders in Organizations and Societies, including discussion of the actual symbols/signs and their abilities (i.e., what they do for you). This free discussion only applies to their respective societal folders, not to the Forums as a whole (though it's understood that limited discussion will occur in other folders, persistent discussions should be limited to the societal folders).
- Symbols/signs in snippets or full game logs no longer have to be removed before posting regardless of the target folder (this previously applied to only Voln symbols, and now applies to CoL signs).
- Discussion of the "end game" of both societies remains off-limits for Forums discussions.
- Discussion of puzzle solutions (the "how to" in obtaining symbols/signs, society resignation, etc.) remains off-limits for Forums discussions.

These changes, which primarily affect how CoL is handled on the Forums, should not be taken as a sign that any previous ingame secrecy has been nullified. In fact, rumor has it that characters are strongly advised to remain silent about those things of which they should not speak aloud. Failure to do so has been known to be hazardous to one's health, though any proof of an individual or group of individuals being responsible for any detrimental after-effects has yet to be obtained.

Discussion about this change can be done in the appropriate folder (Council of Light - General Discussion for CoL, and Voln - General Discussion for Voln).
