When using Shroud of Deception (1212), there are going to 3 predefined unique options for casters to select between once they've learned 50 Minor Mental spell ranks. When they choose to use one of these options, it will completely override their standard LOOK appearance, similar to glamour crystals. For example:
>look Estild
You see a tall, shining silver knight.
or
You see a hooded figure.
What are some options that you guys would like to see? It needs to be reasonable. Specifically, taking on the appearance of a demon wouldn't fly since that's not acceptable in most towns.

you know what would bump this up a notch, if you could take on the shroud of a creature... to everyone else you still look like adventurer joe but when they look you see an orc or whatnot. The benefit would be that while under the shroud you'd be free from attack from like creatures like shroud of orc, orcs wont bug you ect..

Exciting!
A question, does it have to follow the sentence structure in your example to work?
Or would an approach like this also be a possibility,
>look Estild
Your mind wanders and you fail to notice/remember any details about Estild.
>look Estild
Try as you might, your eyes can't focus on Estild.
Some other suggestions.
a nondescript humanoid/biped/creature
a looming/imposing brute/savage/clod
a common soldier/mercenary/conscript
a well dressed nobleman
a hunched, shabbily dressed pauper
an agile, rune-covered being
Since you are building 3 premade looks into the spell would that by chance give the possibility of a merchant service for a custom made 4th?
Looking forward to this spell, been trying to keep a TP reserve to jump straight to 30 MnM when this goes active to put the race and feature modifications to use.

It doesn't have to follow any specific structure or length. And yes, it will be possible for a merchant to give you a custom option.

The first time I read that, I totally thought it said "pimped"...
Ahem. Don't mind me.
The description that immediately popped into my mind was something like:
You see a vague humanoid figure wreathed in mist.
or,
You see an insubstantial humanoid figure obscured by shadows.
For more real-looking images, what about:
You see a slender, elegantly attired aristocrat.
You see a scruffy, unwashed vagabond.
You see a bearded, glassy-eyed lunatic.
You see a white-robed young acolyte.
You see a wrinkled, hunched old man/woman.

A pointy-hatted mage.
A tubby merchant bedecked with bling.
A hairy-chested monk garbed with rags.
A scaly lizard man with betaloned hands and webbed feet.
A glimpse of the bottomless night sky.

Is this spell ever going to be implemented?
Obviously ignorant of the inner workings of the code, but externally it would appear that everything is in place given the semi-frequent selling of items from merchants with abilities to alter the appearance of the user.
