Unannounced CONCENTRATION OF MAGIC(1702) Everyone can cast. If next spell is a defensive spell then the maximum about of time is automatically applied via the appropriate amount of a mana drain to the number of casts it would take, i.e. instant speedup to 4 hours 9 minutes with the mana all taken at once. If the next spell is a CS based spell, then the successful ward will drain mana from the foe to a level commensurate with the dRoll over +101.


Unannounced MASS AFFECTIONS (1703) Activation occurs with a threshold based on Pure skills for being able to cast. The spell gives the caster the ability to cast all defensive spells as a 'Massive' with 1/3 its defensive benefits for each and at an additional mana cost of 3x the cost otherwise would be + the normal cost. So a Thurfels would give them a +6/+7 how its rounded and cost +3x3+3= -12 mana. Recommend a combo of 100 ranks of MIU, MC, Lore, Scroll (not spell ranks). So the caster preps with 1703 and the next spell is a Massive version of a defensive spell. Other use for combat-- if a CS or Maneuver offensive spell then the non-grouped members will each be dealt a dose of the attack. The initial cast will carry a full strength effect, the second in the room will get 10% less say of damage down to 1/3 the damage for any after that set number. Mana cost is 3x the spell cost would otherwise be + the original spell cost.

Unannounced AURA OF ATTUNEMENT (1717) Comes as a "Green Crystal" in loot feeder. The person rubs the crystal and upon activation will develop a sinister green glow. The aura encapsulating the being lucky enough to use the spell will be granted a +15 to all TD. Do I need to say more? We need this.

Unannounced BOND SPELL (1725) Available in treasure fodder-- Red Crystal....rubbing this endows the user with the temporary ability of gaining insight to foreign spell lists when bonded with an adventurer who has already mastered it. Joining with a party and then rubbing the crystal on one of them will give them temporary knowledge of a number of spells up to a set point which is very low for squares and increased for trained pures.
