An Old Leather Spellbook 07/09/2011 05:48 AM CDT
Finally found what I was looking for. However, still don't know much about it.
I know it was designed to allow scrolls to be combined into one place.
What I don't know is:
1. How many scrolls can it take?
2. How many times can it be (re)used?
3. Will it crumble at some point?

Any help would greatly be appreciated!!

Thank you.

Here is the Bard song.

The first thing that strikes you about the spellbook is the weight, which is about 1 pounds. You feel it's quite valuable.

An energenic of magic surrounds the spellbook as if it was a container for storing magics.

A circle of robed figures stands around a pedestal, their chanting getting louder and louder. Next to the pedestal is a scribe slowly and cautiously writing glyphs onto a spellbook while the ink glows an eerie red in the dark moonlight. The scribe places down his quill as the vision slowly fades . . .

A tall figure in a hooded robe approaches the pedestal, picks up the leather spellbook, and carries it carefully to a scroll-covered worktable. He opens the spellbook, selects a scroll which he places within it, and closes the cover. A soft light surrounds the spellbook for a moment, then fades away.
