The bestiary has the following description of ice trolls:

>>Glistening in the light, the troll's ice white skin is covered in slush and snow. Seemingly carved from living ice, the ice troll is a stark, imposing creature. Instead of hair, the ice troll has a field of icicles growing from its head and face.

The descriptions for ice giants, frost giants, and snow crones are all similar. The "seemingly carved from living ice" part has me wondering: Are these living creatures or are they constructs?

seemingly

— adv
1. in appearance but not necessarily in actuality: with seemingly effortless ease

Its been gone over before, the word is in there to help describe the way it appears, nothing to do with construct vs living.
