After the overwhelming success of Gemstone IV: Shattered, Simutronics is pleased to announce the inception of a lucrative partnership with bestselling author George R. R. Martin to produce GemStone IV: A Game of Stones. This brand new instance of GemStone IV will feature an impressive array of all-new features, all presented in dazzling 8-bit color. In addition to all of the features you've come to know and love in our pre-existing instances, you'll get to experience the following and more:

* Food: 67,000+ new foods with multi-paragraph flavor messaging
* "King of the Hill" Mode: declare yourself king and attempt to raise armies to kill other contenders
* Randomized Perma-Death Spinner: every fifteen minutes, you or someone you love will be forced to reroll
* Dynasty Mode: raise and breed with family members to produce the next generation of heirs
* Justice System: no more jail time--commit a crime and you'll be transported immediately to the Wall for service on the Night's Watch
* New Professions: Flame Priest and Courtesan, with access to the Major Elemental and Minor Lust spell circles, respectively

We plan for the new instance to be completed by 2014. Mark your calendars!

The fact that anything is posted in the General Promotions folder is the biggest April Fool's of all.

That would be fun and funny. Highly intrigued with the idea. We going to have wildlings invading the wall? Could almost make a sub-society. Make the Wall it's own town and your unable to leave till time served. Could have its own set of pins of service? Maybe a commander of the Guard?
