Super basic question. 03/27/2016 07:23 PM CDT
I'm a relatively young warmage that is probably a little closer to purecaster than your average wizard. After I train I have physical points left over. They can be used as mental points at a rate of 2 to 1 (right?). Are there any other penalties for using the points this way? I could definitely use more mental points.

That is correct. If you convert P2M, it unconverts when you gain physical TPs, so there is essentially no penalty, other than efficiency.

A pure pure will convert a lot.

But my warmage also converts, though a little bit less once you get to 1x CM and other things.

Don't worry about it.

I can't imagine why you have Physical TPs left over if you want to be a warmage. I didn't convert a single TP either way until after I hit cap. Are you training in weapon/CMan/PF 1x per level?
