Piercings that keep getting infected, how to cure this? 10/28/2013 12:26 AM CDT

I had someone come to me with a piercing that keeps getting infected, how do I heal this problem? I can't turn up any information on doing piercings or solving their problems, so I'm at a loss to help him. The person who did the piercing shrugged him off when he went back to him about this problem. Anyone know the solution?

There's nothing you can do on your own. At this point it's all in how the person cares for the piercing. Have the person clean the piercing by pouring strong alcohol or tincture of acantha on it. The alcohol will result in a very long stun, but the tincture of acantha can draw mana from the user. Also have the person turn the piercing once a day to prevent the wound from closing on the jewelry.

If the infections become too great, it may be necessary to remove the jewelry, allow the wound to heal, and try again with a new piercing. To ensure the lowest chance of infection, use a needle that's sharpened until it gleams like a razor. Rub the needle against an item that uses "stone" for a noun (such as the smooth stones sold in the general store back room) to sharpen it up. Before piercing, pour strong alcohol on the needle to rinse it and cast fire spirit at the needle to heat up the point. The piercer should have a good number of ranks in first aid as well.
