The bug is basically that if you have 0 ranks in the weapon you're holding, you'll get "stance/2" DS for ranged attacks. The moment you have 1 rank or more in that weapon you lose the "stance/2" DS (which is proper because it's indicative of not being able to "defend" against a ranged attack with your weapon).
