Spell Concept: 1135 or 1140 "Symbiosis" 06/04/2017 04:31 PM CDT

Symbiosis is a dual utility/attack spell that focuses on Empathic energy transference in a Masterful control of the essence of the profession. The function of the spell directly correlate to the level of skill and abilities within the Empathic skillset, so when the attacking is going on the Empath will be equally offensive as when healing. *Use of 1135 or 1140 allows the transference of SCARS from other adventurers*

When Symbiosis is used on a Target which is Empathically linked then the transfer of ALL wounds will occur in a single transference. This will take place within a ball of floating light which is surrounded by a vision of wateralls, sunlight, bathing and rebirth. The wounded victim may see a vision of their deity or other form of dramatic inner sight from the overwhelming experience. Symbiosis will A) make sure the wounded party will be at maximum health in a very short period of time and with a rejuvenation which comes from the power of the Empath B) the Empath will not be able to 'bleed out' and die, will have an increased speed to heal down or digest herbs, will be able to trigger a 'double' or even 'triple' heal-down effect (more later on this). Also, if the victim is in a state of death awaiting a resurrection then there will be a boost to the mana specifically available to the former corpse upon the cast of 318 successfully. The mana level is related directly to the amount of MC and Lore/other skills and data of the Empath as it is transferred through the energy well which is bound to the corpse until resurrected (or clocks out).

When the person has recently been healed by someone (or just cast upon without wounds being involved) with the Empath using Symbiosis then they will have a heightened effect from manna bread-- especially if the same Empath made it (say 50% for same path, 25% for another person's). Symbiosis requires a rest period after casting on a linked target. The rest period is accelerated with Meditation/Manna Bread, hopefully Symbol of Dreams!

The 'Double-Triple' heal-down effect is a capacity to trigger automatically the reversal of scars or wounds from 3 to 0 depending on the skills of the Empath. Going from Wound 3 to 0 Scar is probably gong to be possible only for a 6x Capped Empath going for heals but possible. Typically for the beginner will remove 1 rank on top of a heal-down and no extra mana, a 'healing flare' effect. This can be from a 1 Wound/Minor with a reversal of the scar on top of it as a 'flare'! Or it could from a 12 per bleeder down to a 2 per (instead of down to a 6 per or something). Lore and Level heavily effect the activation availability.

When Symbiosis is used in battle, the Empath will attempt to focus their power into the biological system of the enemy (there will be some differences for non-corporeal/golem types but still useable spell) in a way which will bond them with the foe and attempt to not just use the target's own will/body against them but to also use the available energy exchanges to force the foe to become a weapon against other targets in the room unjoined with the Empath's group!

To take an example, the Empath uses Symbiosis to establish an Empathic bond with a hostile target. The Empath's CS successfully wards the target but wait-- there's a bonus! The 'second-chance' of the spell is the CM attack which accompanies the high-mana cost spell. The first strike CM attack if successful will be the effect of all their blood seeping out of their body in an instant then being sucked back in with such force that it will caused organ based damage and shock/stuns. The CM will be doubled if it happens after a successful CS ward and with a push-down.

Channeling the spell from a heightened stance will give each raised rank a new CM chance to trigger. The first CM triggers and if channeled from forward the Empath has a 33% base chance of activating a second-strike CM. If advanced a 50% chance and if that strike activates then a third chance at 33%. If offensive a 75% chance to have a second CM activate, if it is successful then a 50% chance to activate a third and if the third strikes successfully then a 99% chance that the third strike will cause a Tier 4 critical wound on a random organ. A hard 3 Sec. RT for the issue of the Channeling.

Once the unfortunate foe manages to survive the first round of the enormous possibility for damage from the first cast of Symbiosis from the aggressive Empath, the fun only gets worse for them! The Empath is linked until the spell breaks from some form of magic, ability of the foe to shake it, enough time/level difference, etc.-- something like the Evil Eye is or used to be (don't know new Sorcs stuff that high in spell levels) where the foe and the Empath will continue in a lock that draws energy and has warding based capacity to cause damage over a long time. The CM's will continue to strike with the same severity as when begun. This will force the Empath to return to Offensive stance again for 3 seconds each time the CS based/CM second-strike cycle occurs, which is based on various factors (maybe every 3-8 seconds or something depending..).

When the CS damage (which is possible after the CS successfully wards the target) focuses on the blood as well by attempting to manipulate it physically within the body of the victim. By manipulating the Empathic energy successfully, the effect may be to make it churn, boil, burst with pressure, be removed from the body, become solid or if the ward is really high (like +50) a chance for all the blood to leave the body within their veins to the outside of the body with all organs taking damage, extreme likelihood for death criticals. This is followed by the CM attack varying in power with stance/channeling.

If the Empath fails a CS based attack they may suffer some RT loss, stuns, sometimes even damage and mana loss.
