So another one to the tune of an Elton John song, "Crocodile Rock". But we'll rightly name this one "Hobgoblin Hopscotch". P.S. Dhask and Jaired, don't kill me!
I remember when Jaired was young
Him and Dhask had so much fun
Holding swords and smooth stones
Had an old stone Keep to own
But the biggest kick I ever got
Was seeing Jaired do the Hobgoblin Hopscotch
While the other rogues were picking around the lock
Jaired was bopping and hopping to the Hobgoblin Hopscotch
Well Hobgoblin Hopscotch is something exciting
When your hands and feet can't stay still
I never knew a funnier sight and I guess I never will
Oh Arkati, those funny nights
When Dhask wore his codpiece tight
And the Hobgoblin Hopscotch was danced right
But the years went by and Hopscotch died
Dhask went sailing and left for some foreign bay
Long nights crying over a mug of ale
Dreaming of the stone-walled Keep
But they'll never kill the memories we watched
Jaired dancing to the Hobgoblin Hopscotch
Getting older as the weeks went fast
We still crave to see a blast from the past
