620 on Scripted Armor 04/18/2012 11:31 AM CDT
Is there a reason why 620 will not work on scripted armor?

You can enchant scripted armor, you can put warrior resistance on scripted armor, you can put armor buffs (armor support, armor fluidity) on scripted armor.

It seems like an unnecessary restriction to me, and inconsistent with other game mechanics.

I was told by someone that he spoke to a GM about this issue and was told it was a bug and should be fixed. This was a CE GM though I believe.

Is there a ranger GM anymore?

I theorize this problem is simply a result of some quirk in the way 620 was coded, being an older spell, versus the way warrior resistances (and other temp resistances) were coded, being newer. Hopefully the code is reusable and some moderate cut and pasting and QC could see the issue fixed.
