I'm posting 100th level spell ideas in the folders to help the GM's get the idea we need 100th level rewards. After 50 it's like...ok I will just max 150 ranks for CS and other boosts. Where's the cookie?


Spirit Blast

Arcing white energy erupts from the chakra points of the Cleric which sends a rush of power to all joined for +20 to AS for 20 minutes, +2 per pulse of mana for 20 minutes and a +20 fixed bonus to DS/TD/CM based attacks when coming from Undead targets. The Cleric themselves will benefit from an additional effect that triggers upon being warded by a magical or physical assault that will pass through the shield which 'sticks' to the party/Cleric while they are bound in this magical spirit field. The effect will be a 'spiritual spark' which can have various results with a defensive or enhancive quality for the party/Cleric. For example, a Troll King hits a Cleric who is doing a rescue in Darkstone but wasn't spelled up enough to fend the TK. The Cleric has 3100 up and the TK's blow does strike the Cleric wounding him but the spiritual mana energy rippled into an enhancive effect of +12 to LOG for 12 minutes. A random effect from the exchange, capturing the essence of spirituality the TK's attack came with and converting it to positive energy. This trigger a reduction of blood loss a little bit in the corpse who was joined. The spirits remained joined as long as they are together either in a node or a battle. If the Cleric Raises Dead with 3100 running then the results will be a speedier return on Spirit refreshment, especially when joined and a Haste effect on Raise Dead Recovery.
