As someone who has just returned to the lands, I am finding the CoL Solhaven thing to be unnecessary. I know Sol and it is so desolate that already my character decayed. I don't want to be in Sol but am forced to for CoL. It should be fixed. If this was intended to get people familiar with Sol, why don't you consider finding some way that does not force a CoL person to do this. I don't like being isolated.

TV is the starting town for CoL.

You get lost in Col in TV without lich? Its easier to move around in there than TSC. The papers are a reason for avoiding TV if you are over level 10, but its a far, far, better environment for a starting character than Sol is.
