The Ren Fest in Maryland is good fun. Possibly the biggest Ren Fest in the country.

Amazing food, costumes, henna tattoos, Shakespearean shows, juggling, fire breathing, games, real jousting, shopping (whether it be clothing or weapons or masks), local craft beer and cider, and music.

Hotels around the area are already getting booked up.

Awesome. So far its myself and one other player.

This year I am looking at actually buying a cool sword or some other forged item. There is some serious stuff all handmade.

Any interest in a mini GS/MD Ren Fest run? MD Ren Fest is legit as ren fests go. I've been enough times to guide a party through the day. It's inexpensive with tons of shopping, entertainment, and amazing good food like pork chop on a stick kind of amazing good.

Only three weekends left the last day being Oct. 19th.
