Cman Concept: Puncture Wound 03/10/2017 12:53 AM CST

The adventurer will attempt to use a sharp small object (like a nail or spike from a piece of wood) to rapidly assail the target with a number of small punctures, thus causing minor damage but a steady bleeder. This is especially useful when dealing with 'turtled' opponents who are otherwise unreachable or for a way to deal with a critter on its last legs who you'd rather not waste a swing or hide/ambush RT on before going to the next opponent (so you puncture, move on and watch them bleed out while you take care of the next one). It would be best to sort of have an imaginary poker weapon which you don't have to physically grab (but maybe an open right or left hand is required), in my opinion. This kind of thing happens for lockpicking stuff sometimes if I recall.

It could be something like: Rank 1 up to -3 per round Rank 2 up to -6 Rank 3 up to -9 and Rank 4 Would allow you to hit multiple times to open multiple puncture wounds.

Sort of a 'bloodburst' for the Square or like it. You might also get a stance increase to neutral out of it if the critter is below that.

Must be done from offensive stance and hard RT. of 3 seconds. Cannot be done from hiding.

To answer the question about why a character would be in an area hunting under their level...hmm well let's see. Perhaps they are looting or foraging or accompanying a friend on a hunt or looking for something specific or exploring or traveling from one realm to the next or taking a moment to call nature?
