Striking Asp bug? 02/19/2017 10:40 AM CST
I didnt try to test this much but just now I got the messaging and effect for Striking Asp even though I was running Griffin's Voice. I have rank 3 in both stances. While this is certainly a bug, I would be quite happy if stayed! Assuming two martial stances in some shape or form would be fantastic with the right limitations (60-120 second duration for second stance? Only certain stances can be used with others?). After playing around this more:

- This appears to be a messaging only bug. I may have missed a stamina pulse and assumed I was getting the reduced costs.
- Only occurs when I have enhancives on.
- Only occurs when I open mstrike.

Hope that helps narrow it down. I have suggested this before but while you are looking at the inner workings of this Cman, could we get a special verb to trigger the reduced qstrike cost? Since the reduction is percentage based I would prefer to save it for the larger stamina costs. However, since the effect occurs on every quickstrike when the timer is up or a charge is stored it limits the overall benefit because you have to 'save' your quickstrikes. I think asp would be fine instead of qstrike/quickstrike and the timer/charge mechanic only relating to use of that verb.

Sorry to say, but definitely not intentional. If you could do me a solid and BUG that in game I would appreciate it.

In regards to triggering the ability on demand, we specifically considered that it wasn't something that you could control that finely when we determined it's costs and benefits, so I wouldn't expect to see any changes to how the skill activates.
