is there any possible way that dyes can be applied to some adornments? by this I mean linings and fringes in particular. I asked a few master cobblers and they said it wasn't possible, I just tested a piece, and it didn't take the dye. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong or if this is intended, but it would open up a whole bunch of possible shoe combinations if we could do this. Would be nice for some shoes with contrasting or complementary color schemes. Loving making shoes now that I mastered by the way!
