Does anyone know if weighting allows to achieve critical ranks higher than the positional caps? So far I've only been able to use lightly weighted gloves, and so I figure it's going to take me the better part of a decade to see a shot that surpasses decent rank 5 if it's possible.

Is the weighting only pushing you closer to the capped rank available for your position, or can it lift the attack passed that thresh hold?
