Belaying pins for sale 02/22/2011 07:11 PM CST
I enchanted a few belaying pins to 4x for use with costumes, for general fun, or to maintain discipline amongst the rabble at the upcoming Spitfire event. They are for sale in my Icemule store for 50k each (the store just inside the alley nearest to the South gate).

Faulkil points his belaying pin at you.
Faulkil says "Swab the decks and stow the tarts!"
Faulkil waves his belaying pin around.

A favorite of sailors on ships everywhere, a belaying pin was a device used to stay ropes pulled taut when setting sails and yardarms. They were pre-stationed around vessels, and allowed for rapid tie-offs when the right tension was set.

They made pretty handy billy clubs too, for those overzelous first mates that had to hold discipline on-board vessels.

Of course, the crew only had to see it in action one time to realize the potential. . .
