Hello fellow Drakes. As some of you know I've returned to the lands, even if on a limited basis for now. It's very good to be back, with the exception of having to re-learn most everything I knew.

I see we aren't making much use of these boards. I believe that is a mistake. It would be nice if everyone dropped by once in awhile. I would rather have any news of the lands posted here by Drakes, for Drakes, rather than get it secondhand from a non-Drake.

I also have a special request to make. It would be quite informative if each of you (especially the people who are new since my departure) would post your name, character class, level and preferred manner of combat. These would make it much easier for me to understand who we have and your capabilities. I feel this would be a great way to allow our leaders to make full use of the power of the Drakes, which I can see is even more devastating than when I left. The Drakes Vanguard is undoubtedly the most highly trained and disciplined militia in the lands. In just the few times I have been able to log in to play as a Drake I am nothing short of awed by the way each of you handle yourselves in combat. Even the youngest of you are highly skilled and capable. This shows the training, dedication and loyalty each of you has towards the unit as a whole and I am proud to be a part of it once again.

Welcome Back Radeek.

I do not follow news across the realm, so seldom have any input to events that are not Landing centered, and generally post that in the Landing folder. The Drakes are indeed a powerful force, and I agree that communication is key. As an active member, a contingent force of Drakes is always active someplace in the lands.

I believe that due to this activity, this board gets little use, as we are in constant communication in game. As an officer in The Landing Defense Irregulars, I see many of The Drakes Vanguard among our membership as well, and while we continue to train, and increase our own numbers, we have an understanding among our ranks to join and assist The Drakes, and Griffons if the circumstance calls for it.

Like you , I share the pride of seeing The Drakes Vanguard in action, and being a part of the war machine. In your absence, General Svardin has trained any of to cap, and continue to lead others to that goal daily.

Can't wait to see you back in action as well.

I look forward to punching Radeek in the face...repeatedly.

Also, I use a bow. Not very well. I hunt in the rat nexus.

That is all.

PS. The Drakes are outstanding and thanks to Svardin for being so dedicated.

He he. Don't even try. I'd hate to have to re-introduce you to spike thorn, or have you forgotten last time already?

Well, since I'm already the best I suppose you'll have to settle for not being very good.

I don't remember any spikethorning episodes. I believe you are still dreaming from your long winter's nap up north.

I wouldn't want to remember that either. In the battle pit at Helden Hall, or whoever has it. If memory serves, you tried to lullabye me and it didn't work. I found it rather distasteful to have to use spike. I would have preferred arrows, but you seemed so serious about winning so I figured I might as well take it seriously too. All in all it was just good fun. I used to have the record of it, but I can't seem to find it, so you'll just have to take my word for it. Well, back to these BORING escorts.
