How far can non-bards go with instrument messaging? The wiki says they can go up the last level of Apprentice (7 out of 10 messages). I've been told that non-bards can attain the last level of Journeyman (9 out of 10 messages). However, my musical rogue is at 5 out of 10 messages in necked stringed instruments and has been there since June.

Has he reached maximum skill on necked stringed instruments? Do the instruments just need to be tuned before he can learn more? What's going on?
