Here is the BUG report:

Submitted bug "combat" to play.net's bug tracking database under category "Warlock" with these details:
"shield forward rank 1 increased the difference between the d100 and the end roll by 10 shiled ranks worth of points. However, upon learning rank 2 of shield forward, there was NO bonus, NO change in the difference between the d100 and the end roll results of shield bash. I tested this on multiple of the same creature type. I even tested before learning shield forward by training in 10 ranks of shield use. 10 ranks of shield use gave the same results as rank 1 shield forward. Whereas gain rank 2 shield forward I LOST all bonus of the sman."

I assisted on account of the categorization of the report as "Warlock" which Elidi also found odd.

Shield bash results from increasing training by 10 ranks:

[Roll result: 128 (open d100: 51) Penalties: 11] giant, no injury; 90 ranks of shield, (end - d100) = 77 repeated results, same type of giant

[Roll result: 180 (open d100: 83) Penalties: 11] giant, no injury; 100 ranks of shield, (end - d100) = 97 repeated results, same type of giant

Shield bash results from rank 1 shield forward:

[Roll result: 124 (open d100: 30) Penalties: 7] giant, no injury; 100 ranks of shield, (end - d100) = 94
[Roll result: 168 (open d100: 61) Penalties: 7] giant, no injury, 100 ranks of shield, after using bash, (end - d100) = 107 <-- shows increase in shield use

Shield bash results from rank 2 shield forward:

[Roll result: 98 (open d100: 20) Penalties: 7] giant, no injury, 100 ranks of shield, (end - 100) = 78
[Roll result: 133 (open d100: 55) Penalties: 7] giant, no injury, 100 ranks of shield, after using bash, (end - d100) = 78 <-- no increase in shield use.


Rank 1 shield forward give benefit, but rank 2 takes it away.

"Shield Forward is a passive shield specialization that increases your Shield Use skill after using an offensive shield attack, improving your DS and chance to block. It provides an enhancive bonus of 10 skill ranks per specialization rank that lasts for 15 seconds."

At rank 2, I should have receive 20 skill in shield use after my first offensive strike and this should last 15 seconds.

I'm not seeing this.
