Stationery boxes 11/03/2021 07:51 PM CDT
Upon further investigation, stationery boxes need some tweaks.

INSPECT -You estimate that a stationery box can store a medium amount (20-39 pounds) with enough space for any number of items.

You determine that you could not wear the box.

OPEN -You lift the lid of your stationery box and release the front flap, pulling it forward to serve as a writing slope.
CLOSE -Folding over the writing slope, you push it forward into your stationery box and close the lid to secure it in place.

1. They say that they have a writing slope. With it in your hands, it would be nice to be able to place the Paper upon its "Writing slope" and then pull out the quill and WRITE Paper; TEXT.

2. In lieu of writing on its afore mentioned "writing slope". Add an ALL MINE script and be able to set it down to pull things out of it. This would be more efficient than putting it inside of your safe container. That little bit of juggling gets monotonous.

3. IF all of that is not feasible, then make it wearable to free up the hands. Just kind of feels like a coin dispenser then but hey, its better than the shuffle.

4. Can we make it work with the new MAIL system? I have been working out the issues. Paper and writing implement doesn't matter with either system. The envelope and wax is the issue. The Stationery box envelope wont take the wax/sigil or the stamp. The MAIL system Envelope doesn't mind the Stationery box Paper/Quill, but is needed to make the MAIL system workable. The Mail system envelope WILL also fit inside your Stationery box, but its a no frills envelope (no perfume, kisses or special addons).

The wax from the Stationery box wont work with the MAIL system envelope. The Wax from the MAIL system wont fit in the Stationery box. So there is no way to make that play nice with each other.

BUT the stationery wax and signet ring works on the paper. This will add a sealed paper that is folded with a Wax Image on the item INSIDE the MAIL system envelope. AND you can PUT MAIL system wax on the OUTSIDE of the envelope while wearing a MAIL system ring to place another image on the envelope.

Once all that is done, you can add a MAIL system stamp and MAIL SEND Name.

So all of that MAIL system and Stationery box...doesn't play nice together but, wax/signet ring/ envelope aside the rest is fluffy zest and inconvenience. Hope that helps and I really hope that the GM's will read this and make some tweaks to make these things play well together. It would be an awesome fix.
