We already have bastard swords (see also katanas), and bastard axes. Mikos said many years ago in a 'weapon' forum that there was a flail/morning star, but I was never able to lay hands on it; I did have the club/quarterstaff that I got from Strom (and later sold to Ardwen), so 1HCrush are also possible.

Why limit ourselves?

(Hell, the NAME of the darn thing is the "bow staff", plural bow staves.) It's a stick. With a string.

Wyrom could even go crazy with limited-form morphing rods, and have it go from a (rune)staff to a whip (loose string) to a bow (attached string) and back to stick (absorb the string).
