The other players in Shattered (and there are considerably more than two), will gear you up like crazy. They have bins just stuffed full of things, and if you ask, they will give you even cooler stuff. I like to jokingly call the place a socialist utopia. Even when they spend tons of real life money on doing, say Duskruin, nobody really needs stuff any more, so they just pool all the winnings together and get their certificates to the people who actually need them. As a GM, it's a crazy and fun thing to watch and participate in. It's a really neat environment. I like to pop in and do silly alterations and stuff from time to time, but for the most part, all the mechanical gear handoffs is well handled by the players themselves.
